I am new at Simple Object Designer and am struggling with something. Please forgive me if this is a dumb question. I would like to display the Customer’s credit limit and balance due in the ‘General’ section of a Sales Order. Can this be done with S.O.D.? If so, can you nudge me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance!
Credit Limit can be pulled in as a Lookup FlowField: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gnq2PUSozDU
Balance due is slightly more complicated, requires you to create a Sum FlowField: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GugNPeSrE8s
Here are the definitions, you need to calculate from the the “Detailed Cust. Ledg. Entry” table with the filters below:
field(66; “Balance Due”; Decimal)
CalcFormula = sum(“Detailed Cust. Ledg. Entry”.Amount where(“Customer No.” = field(“No.”),
“Initial Entry Due Date” = field(upperlimit(“Date Filter”)),
“Initial Entry Global Dim. 1” = field(“Global Dimension 1 Filter”),
“Initial Entry Global Dim. 2” = field(“Global Dimension 2 Filter”),
“Currency Code” = field(“Currency Filter”)));
field(67; “Balance Due (LCY)”; Decimal)
CalcFormula = sum(“Detailed Cust. Ledg. Entry”.”Amount (LCY)” where(“Customer No.” = field(“No.”),
“Initial Entry Due Date” = field(upperlimit(“Date Filter”)),
“Initial Entry Global Dim. 1” = field(“Global Dimension 1 Filter”),
“Initial Entry Global Dim. 2” = field(“Global Dimension 2 Filter”),
“Currency Code” = field(“Currency Filter”)));
