I am not a software person and new to Simple Object Designer so apologies in advance if this is the incorrect forum for my question. I used the Simple Object Designer Expose Data as web service APIS to publish 3 tables and access them in Power BI. In Business Central I see the table and the most updated rows, but in the Power Query/Power BI connection I do not see the most updated rows, the most updated rows are around 6 months old. I believe the connection is correct in Power BI and can’t find any issue there. I want to ensure there’s not an issue with the way I published the table via the Simple Object Designer. Thanks in advance for any help!
APIs exposed by SOD are not applying any filter or limitations, other what Business Central does on all API calls (like the 20K record limitation).
Not sure how to help you, I wonder if your Power BI connection is broken somehow, can try creating a new report just to get the data.
If you go to the table view, you should be able to refresh the data using “Refresh” button.
Refreshing the query doesn’t update the dataset, it still shows a most recent date of 9/28/2024
After researching the record limitation, I believe it’s related to that. That answers my question, thank you
