Added fields are not searchable?

I've created several fields, including calculated fields, and added them to the lists that I require. I am not able to search on any text within the fields that I have added via SOD, however. Have I done something incorrectly or this not a possibility?

I've found an answer. It seems that Flowfields are not searchable from lists, and this is base BC behavior. It's unfortunate.

You can still set a filter on them, not very fast, but that’s your option.
