If we use this extension to create objects in our environment. Can we access, and do we own the source code?
If so, where do we find it?
If this extension were to no longer be maintained or supported, would that cause the objects that we created to fail?

You can use the "Download Source" from the setup to get the source to your app. That belongs to you, 100%
hougaard“Download Source” is only available from a licensed version of the Simple Object Designer.
