1. That would require a customization. I know several customers who have something like created.
  2. You use categories or you can use sub folders.

    1. Would the customization be as simple as adding a new field that gets the year? Or is there something better than that?
    2. I watched you video for the sub folders and that makes sense and is an option, I looked on your youtube channel for file categories and I could not find that info. Is there a video or document you have for that setup that I can reference?

  2. I don’t have a video on the categories, bu the basic concept is way to give a category to every file (and also do that from the SharePoint side). The category comes with an added benefit of color coding files.

  3. Okay, I would like to explore that, but I am hitting a wall. I added two categories to Purchase Header on the table mapping and gave them both a name and format. I then go to the Purchase Orders and go into a PO and add a document it uploads the document to the mapping, but I do not seem to add the category anywhere? I would be happy to read a document if there is one on how to set it up.

  4. Go to the Meta data menu option and add the Category as a custom column for this table.
