Usually we do our testing in sandbox and then make the changed in production. This time around we made too many changes and wanted to bring over the app to production instead of recreating all the new fields, transfers, data queries. When trying to import we get a “The supplied field number ’11’ cannot be found in the ‘API Pages’ table.” error. Not sure how to figure out what field 11 means. We did install the new sandbox extension in Production and it works great, but in case of required changes we don’t see the fields, queries in SOD. Do we need to uninstall the new extension and then import the app to publish or would we just need to recreate the changes in production and then publish?

Instead of having SOD on both places, do this:
- Designate a sandbox to your “dev” sandbox
- Do all your development in that sandbox
- Test your app in the sandbox until you’re happy with it
- Upload that app file to extension management in production
