We have transferred the ‘Posting Date’ field from the Sales Header to the Sales Shipment Header using the S.O.D, however when placed an a report it is coming through as a Date/Time field (rather than just a ‘Date’ fielder).
In any case, the time stamp is not correct and remains at 0:00:00.
We call it Shipping Date but it is using the ‘Posting Date’ transfer field from S.O.D. on report doc:

Yes, that’s a Word weidness.
There’s a trick: You can create a calculated field on the report, a Text field that uses an expression like this:
FORMAT(Header.Posting_Date)
(The element might not be called “Header” in the report, adjust the code to reflect the right name)

FORMAT(Header.Posting_Date,0,4)
That will result in something like 5. April 2021
